ROBERT KING
Executive Vice President of Program Operations




Bob King has worked in the energy conservation field since 1979, holding several key positions, including Assistant Secretary for the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy Resources from 1984-1988. He was involved with the formation of a group that merged to form CSG in 1984, and formally joined CSG in 1992 as Director of Midwest Operations. During the course of his career, he has managed a variety of utility Demand Side Management and low-income programs, provided consulting services to utilities on program design, participated in regulatory proceedings, and overseen the administration of residential, institutional, commercial/industrial, and renewable energy programs.
Bob has focused on the integration of data mining, operational best practices, key indicator tracking for CSG business lines, and standardized assumption based budgeting. In his current role, he oversees start-up teams and operations support including data evaluation, program effectiveness, cost targeting, and system development, and monitors monthly reporting and program standards including the development and deployment of best practices and operating standards.
Bob is a graduate of Dartmouth College and also holds a Masters in Public Administration from Northeastern University.
