VANESSA RICHTER
Regional Vice President, Pacific Southwest
Vanessa Richter’s key leadership in strategic planning and operations, coupled with advanced technical expertise and a passionate commitment to CSG’s mission, make her a valuable addition to CSG’s leadership team. Her responsibilities at CSG include account management; ensuring contract compliance, hiring and overseeing staff, managing office locations, and managing performance standards and service delivery.
Richter joined CSG in 2008 as a program director in CSG’s Tucson, Arizona office. In this position, she oversaw the implementation of award-winning residential energy efficiency programs for CSG’s utility and municipal clients. She also has been involved in advancing state and local energy efficiency policy, as well as recruiting partners and delivering techical and program trainings. Prior to joining CSG, Richter was land development director at NRG Development, LLC, in Fort Myers, Florida and land development manager at TOUSA Homes, Inc. She has served as a project manager and civil engineer in Florida and Arizona.
Richter is certified by the Building Performance Institute and is a licensed professional engineer in Arizona and Florida. She also is LEED accredited by the U.S. Green Building Council and is a certified home energy rater through RESNET. A former senior airman in the Arizona National Guard, Richter holds a B.S. degree in civil engineering from University of Arizona.
